The now 30-year-old "young guns" of jazz came with his parents, who both played in a band, must be very early to music. Even as a teenager, he played regularly in clubs and at 20 he released his first self-financed album.
Jamie Cullum has a really fresh style, combining jazz with a rock, expressive voice, with some funky grooves and a wide range between hungry lust for life and wiser melancholy. "All I can today, I've learned on the stage," says the autodidact.
